"We had a great time on Haven Entertainment's 2008 Smooth Cruise! My band (Dave, Tim, John, Buddy and Khari) and I want to thank Haven Entertainment and all of the cruisers for their warm reception as always. It was terrific seeing new faces joining the repeat cruisers who we have come to know so well I especially want to thank my "Kickin' With Nick" fan club president Carrie and all the "Kickin'" members for helping to make this such a special time for me and the band...Carrie calls our special fan club meetings "Chill Factors" and the one on board the "Elation" has to be one of the most memorable ever.
The 2009 Smooth Cruise is going to be outstanding...the ship is the Celebrity Cruise Lines' luxurious "Century" and it's leaving out of Miami, going to Key West, Nassau and Coco Cay. Mark the dates on your calendar (January 31 - February 5, 2009) and make your plans to join me, Cruise Host Norman Brown, Special Guest Mindi Abair and the other great players soon to be announced on the coolest cruise afloat!
Meantime, be sure to catch me and the guys on the road - catch us at Berks Jazz Festival where I'll be headlining on Thursday, April 3!"
